As one of the Mid-Atlantic's premier woodwind specialists, Seth Kibel performs with some of the best bands around in blues, klezmer, jazz, swing, and more. Wowing audiences on saxophone, clarinet, and flute, Seth has won a total of 17 Washington Area Music Awards (Wammies), as Best World Music Instrumentalist as well as Best Jazz Instrumentalist. He has appeared with such notables as Sam Moore (Sam & Dave), Percy Sledge, The Coasters, and Johnnie Johnson. This month at Inwood Coffeehouse he surrounds himself with a bevy of stringed instruments (The Wire Choir), playing a variety of instrumental music, with an emphasis on hot jazz, gypsy jazz, and swing.
