Billing themselves as "the world's best plumbing band," Big Blow and the Bushwackers present an active, high energy show that invites the audience to become a part of the bushwacking experience. Their instruments are brassy: sax, trombone, tuba, trumpet and traditional: didjiridu, accordion, mandolin, harmonica and downright bizarre: slido didj, floppophone and Hosophone. In concert they have fun with traditional ballads, dance songs from many cultures, improvisations which involve the audience, plus a large dose of their own funny, pop-satire material.

Tim Whittemore is Big Blow with the Bushwackers"They look like a medieval troupe that has just taken over the town square...their songs are both original and fantastic twists on themes familiar as nursery rhymes and just as much fun." -- Jackie Lydon, National Public Radio
