Bill Baker is a familiar name in the Washington DC music scene. His award winning and critically acclaimed songs and voice have made their way across the States and onto main stage venues at Kerrville Folk Festival, Merlefest, Kennedy center, Strathmore Arts Center and Barns at Wolftrap as well as performances in Europe. Bill's writing blends influences from folk, blues and country to create contemporary music firmly rooted in traditional Americana.

Derek Brock was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, where he lived an absolutely enchanted life until his family moved to South Florida in the 1960s. Things soon went further south, though, when his teenage girl friend firmly said no, and thinking to win her back, took up folk guitar. Tragically, things didn't work out, and he ended up with an out of control music habit with no hope for recovery. He came of musical age in Chapel Hill, studying classical guitar, and clerking in record stores, came up to D.C. to visit some musical buddies and never left. In the '80s, Derek wrote, sang, and played with local bands The Jump, Little Big, and Under the Sun and later spent time helping out with The Beatnik Flies, Group Therapy, and The Redeemers before joining The Bill Baker Band.

Hometown boy Scott Giambusso has been playing music professionally since he was 16. A master of jazz style guitar, Scott learned early on that the less crowded field of upright bass would be a better career choice, and after hearing him play you'll soon realize why Scott is one of the most in demand players in the Washington Area. Serving as the musical guru for the group, nothing flies out of the Bill Baker Band Airport without his OK.

Steve Bloom has played percussion professionally in thousands of performances and recordings in Middle Eastern and Persian, Cuban, Latin, Brazilian, Sefardic, Jazz, Blues, Gospel, New Age, and Celtic styles. He has performed and/or recorded in over a dozen countries from the Middle East to Nigeria to Canada with a wide variety or artists.
